Sally, giggling as if it were a game, wasn’t paying attention to what was ahead of her. She tripped and fell in to a small den at the base of a tree. A scream of terror burst through the air. Sally exploded out of the den as a huge bear came roaring after her.

We're having the first rounds of the Spelling Bee in English class this week! Next Thursday we will have the final event for the school. The top fifteen or sixteen middle schoolers will compete in the auditorium with the remaining students in the audience. So far everyone is having a blast!
